VALRPAS is a leading provider of drone solutions for the agricultural sector in British Columbia and the Yukon. We are an authorized sub-dealer for DJI AGRAS drones, the world’s most advanced agriculture drone technology.
Our Story
We started as Veyaness Aviation Ltd. (VAL) in 2010, operating small aircraft for search and rescue missions, free medical flights for kids flight recurrency training and time building for pilots. Our president, who holds a Commercial Aviation Pilot Licence, an aviation instructor licence, an advanced RPAS Licence and an Advanced RPAS Licence Reviewer Transport Canada (TC) designation, also authored one of the first DJI Agras agricultural Special Flight Operations Certificates (SFOC) granted by TC.
In 2020, we decided to shift our focus to RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) for the agricultural sector, as we saw the huge potential of drone farming to increase production efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and improve crop quality.
